Health Services
Despite serious security and transportation challenges, the mission to Haiti between March 30 and April 6, 2025 provided various health services to more than 3,000 people in at least 5 departments and 16 communes in Haiti.
Health education
For seven days - from March 30 to April 5 - health awareness activities were organized in about twenty churches in the 16 municipalities of the program on non-communicable diseases, preventive health and especially on mental health and social health.
Around 300 volunteers
More than 300 volunteers, including healthcare professionals as diverse as doctors, psychologists, dentists, technicians, pharmacists, physiotherapists, etc., lent their time, their skills and, above all, their humanity, to provide quality services with respect, humanity and compassion. Citizen mobilization
The program also included marches for health and life in the streets of major cities: Gonaives, St-Marc, Port-de-Paix, St-Louis du Nord, Jean Rabel, Cap-Haïtien, Ouanaminthe. 5,000 to 6,000 people (at least 2,000 in Gonaives), young and old, took to the streets on Saturday, April 5, 2025.
The entire Far North impacted
Gonaïves, Cap-Haitien, St Marc, Ouanaminthe, and Port-de-Paix were mobilized throughout the weekend. The proud city of independence achieved the highest level of impact during this program, with more than 500 consultations in one day on Sunday, April 6, 2025. Three major consultation sites, approximately 50 volunteers, and a march for life that brought together more than 2,000 participants on the Place d'Armes in Gonaives on Saturday, April 5. In the northern capital, "OKAP," sanitation activities on one of the city's streets were also carried out.
