Summary definition of Ayitism

Ayitism is the ideological vision of the refoundation of the Ayisyan nation-state which proclaims a new social contract for a refounded Ayiti.

  • · Ayitism advocates a political reform where state power is largely decentralized to repeal the reign of the liberticidal political culture currently in place in Ayiti. In over 200 years of history, this political culture has produced only a state that is just as authoritarian, predatory, corrupt as it is ineffective and unsustainable.
  • · Ayitism recommends a system in which the market economy is supportive, open, inclusive, fair, equitable and sustainable to achieve the dream of equality for which our ancestors shed their blood.
  • · Ayitism brings out a new social model, anchored in the values of the republic, which succeeds in changing Ayiti by changing the Ayisyans individually and collectively.

The Ayitism Manifesto delivers in detail the ideological statement, foundations, declarations, proposals and political, economic and social innovations of Ayitism.
