What is Ayiti?

IDEOLOGICAL DECLARATION OF AYITISM #1 & 2

Ayiti 2030 is a nation-state based on the republican values of liberty, equality and fraternity. To achieve and protect the value of LIBERTY for all, the republic has established a political system characterized by a republican regime in which democracy is now semi-direct.

Popular sovereignty is never again entirely delegated to any political group, even one resulting from universal suffrage.

The exercise of power there is largely decentralized and redistributed.

Civil society is recognized in its natural right to influence the decisions of the State. However, this democracy functions for the common good of all citizens and the prosperity of the nation in accordance with our republican values.

Inspired by Max Weber's definition, we define the Ayisyan State as "a political entity of an institutional nature, whose administrative leadership successfully claims, in the application of regulations, the monopoly of legitimate physical constraint, throughout the Ayisyan territory". This entity has the sole objective of realizing the political project of "Ayitism".

That is to say that the only reason for the existence of this state apparatus is to bring about and make sustainable a republic of Haiti re-founded on the values of Liberty, Equality and Fraternity.

The ideological foundations of the new political governance of the Republic of Ayiti 2030 are therefore the following;

  1. The governance of the new Ayiti is republican. All the orientations and state decisions of Ayiti 2030 are based on the values of the republic and oriented towards the common good of the Ayisyans and the prosperity of Ayiti.
  2. The governance of the new Ayiti is collegial. It is materialized and centralized in the structure of the "Council of State of the Republic of Ayiti - The CERA". This structure is composed of the heads of the seven branches of the republican power of Ayiti 2030.
  3. The Democracy of Ayiti 2030 is Semi-direct [i] . Popular sovereignty is no longer totally delegated to elected representatives.
  4. Civil Society is recognized as a civil force holding part of republican power.
  5. The participatory democracy governance model is applied to all possible sectors of public life.
  6. Ayiti 2030 brings about a Republic where symbolic changes make visible the national shift towards a refounded country. Among these changes we cite the change of the spelling of the official name of the country from “Haiti” to “Ayiti”.

[i] We can say semi-direct democracy or semi-representative democracy. It is the same thing. It is strictly only a change of perspective. Semi-direct is said by taking the population as the point of view and Semi-representative by taking the elected representatives who represent the people as the point of view.
